Dolphins Cancer Challenge, 2024

As an Event Volunteer for the Dolphins Cancer Challenge — the largest NFL charity cycling event in the country — I contributed to the seamless execution of a large-scale outdoor event rooted in community, cause, and coordination.

My primary responsibility centered on managing the inventory and logistics of 1,500 bicycles at the starting point of the 39-mile ride, ensuring every participant's bike was properly accounted for and staged ahead of departure. I also played an active role in both the setup and breakdown of the event space outside the University of Miami's Watsco Center, supporting the physical transformation of the venue before and after thousands of riders and spectators passed through.

On event day, I served as a front-line volunteer by guiding riders to the start line and sending them off — acting as one of the last human touchpoints before participants embarked on the ride, setting the tone for an energized and organized departure.

This experience sharpened my ability to manage high-volume logistics, work within large volunteer teams, and deliver a polished event experience in service of a meaningful cause.
